is a painter in beautiful Fernie, British Columbia, where she has been living for many years.
Plein air landscapes and floral paintings are her specialty. The mediums used are oils and acrylics and sometimes watercolour.

The prairies are especially impressive during a thunderstorm. I was visiting relatives near Grande Prairie and a huge storm blew in.

The morning light on Lake Superior is a special time of day to paint.
The sunrise and the sunset on the water on Lake Superior I've always found fascinating. So in this painting I try to do both as well as the reflection on the lake.
